Carificate is a personalised steel collector’s certificate for your car, and a virtual garage where you document the story of your cars and share your passion for driving. The physical certificate is a 450 × 320 mm (approx. 17.7 × 12.6 in) steel plate: a photo of your car of your choice on the front, and on the back its photos, technical details, your story and an individual CF number.

From the front, Carificate looks like a print on metal, but instead of a stock design from a catalogue it shows your car in your own photos. The back has what an ordinary metal sign never has: an interior photo, the full spec sheet, a story written by the owner, and a serial number of its own. It is a personalised keepsake of one specific car, not a printed decoration.

No. Carificate is a collector’s certificate, not an official document. Factory documents such as a British Motor Museum Heritage Certificate or a BMW birth certificate come from the manufacturer’s archives — Carificate doesn’t replace them, doesn’t prove ownership and doesn’t independently verify the car’s history. It preserves what the owner wants to keep — the photos, the details and the story — in a form made for the wall.

Carificate is for people whose car means memories, emotions and passion. You can immortalise your first car, the one you dreamed of for years, a restored classic or a build you are still working on. Make, age and price don’t matter — your relationship with the car does. Carificate also makes a great gift for someone close to you.

Yes. Carificate can commemorate a car you no longer have — your first car, for example, or one that belonged to your parents. Gather its photos, the details you know and the story you want to keep. The VIN is optional.

Every Carificate is made by hand, one at a time, for one specific car. We don’t produce stock designs in advance — each piece has its own photos, details, story and serial number.

Carificate measures 450 × 320 mm (approx. 17.7 × 12.6 in). It is a size that looks good on a garage, office or living room wall — visible from across the room, yet easy to read up close.

A 12 × 12 cm (approx. 4.7 × 4.7 in) magnet for mounting is included. Everything arrives in a black box with the Carificate logo.

The front shows a photo of your car of your choice, with its make and model. It is the side that hangs on the wall and tells everyone at a glance which car the story is about.

The back is your car’s spec card. It features an exterior and an interior photo; make, model, trim, year, power, engine, drivetrain, transmission, colour, torque, 0–100 km/h acceleration and top speed; your story of up to 600 characters; the owner’s name or nickname; the VIN (optional); and an individual CF number.

No. The VIN is optional. You can add it to the back if you like, but your Carificate doesn’t have to be tied to it.

Yes. As the owner, you can use your full name or the nickname other car people know you by — your forum handle or club name, for example.

The story on the back can be up to 600 characters. One specific moment works better than generalities: how you found the car, the first drive, the restoration, a road trip you still remember, or the person you associate with it. Write it the way you’d tell it to a friend.

You can use your own photos, or photos taken by a photographer if you have their permission to use them this way. For the back, prepare one exterior and one interior shot. Use the original files, where the car and its details are clearly visible.

Sharp, full-resolution photos taken in soft light work best — the whole car in frame, with no random people or objects around it. Avoid screenshots and pictures saved from messaging apps, as they are usually heavily compressed.

Yes. You can book a session with an automotive photographer and use the agreed photos in your Carificate. Before the shoot, let them know you need an exterior and an interior shot.

The CF number is the individual serial number every Carificate receives. No two pieces share the same number — proof that your certificate is one of a kind, made around one car and its story.

The QR code marked “Scan to verify” leads to the Carificate registry. It links the piece hanging on your wall to its number in the registry.

You create your Carificate in the configurator in three steps: upload photos of your car, fill in the technical details and your story, then check the preview and place your order.

The price depends on the options you choose. You will see it in the configurator before you place your order.

Yes. The configurator shows a preview of your Carificate, so you can see exactly how the photos, details and story will look before you order.

Yes. It is a personalised gift for a car enthusiast: their car, their story and a serial number of its own. It works for a birthday, Christmas, an anniversary, the purchase of a dream car or the end of a restoration. Carificate arrives in a black box with the Carificate logo.

Collect two photos of the car — exterior and interior — for example from your loved one’s phone or social media. Basic details such as make, model, year and power can be found in the registration document or the model’s spec sheet. You can write the story yourself, for instance about what this car means to them.

The Carificate virtual garage is where you keep your cars and record their story: road trips, rallies and modifications. You can also arrange meets and talk to other enthusiasts. Scope and access terms are listed in the offer you choose.

No. The steel certificate preserves a chosen moment in the car’s life — exactly as you design it. New chapters, such as fresh modifications or trips, go into the virtual garage.
